Just keep in mind that the file sizes for each picture you take will be one-megabyte or even two. Great for resolution, not so great if your computer is slow. And your camera will probably be in the 12 megapixel or higher range, even better for image quality.
Someday I hope to be able to afford a telephoto lens for my DSLR, but now I hear they have mounting adapters for film camera lenses so you can use them with DSLR’s. That would be a lot cheaper. Kimberly A Taylor replies: "yeah getting a telephoto lens would be great. i watched a programe a few months back-a bbc programe stargazing live and they showed if you’ve got a telescope, (somehow-i’m not sure if you can only do it to certain telescope or need any spaecial attachment) but you can even attach a dslr to it to take space pics-cool"

The adapter would simply be like a lens adapter between the camera and the eye-piece of a telescope. The only thing is you would need long exposure times for deep-space objects.
I was so excited once when I found the Orion nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy through a pair of good binoculars.
The price isn’t too bad for a telescope camera mount, about £19, thereabouts. Kimberly A Taylor replies: "mmm, it’s just too bad i haven’t got a telescope"

They do this with Star Wars, Dr. Who, Battlestar Galactica, Dr. Strangelove, etc. One picture shows a miniature Millenium Falcon speeding away from a Star Trek ship.
http://memory-alpha.org/wiki/Science_fiction_references_in_St- - ar_Trek Kimberly A Taylor replies: "ah yes, memory alpha, the star trek wiki, yes i’m been to it many times, avatar has one too, i think there’s a wiki for virtually everything. yeah, i think putting the millenieum falcon in there was as a bit of fun, i’ll have to look out for it next time i watch st first contact"

I couldnt stand taking art classes in high school, I didnt like being told what to draw and when to draw it, having a deadline sucked. My teacher didnt care for me too much because of that and I only took the class to fill the space. It drives me nuts when people tell me I need to get a career in art or go to school for it. lol but anyways, I love your gallery! Kimberly A Taylor replies: "oh thankyou, hehe, yeah, i only did art as a fun subject, but your right, i like doing art, but only when i feel like doing it and when, i didn’t particulary like our art teachers-they were a bit werid, they definitly didn’t help that much, most of what did, i learnt to draw and do myself-andstill learning; the best way i think,"
